A secure verification workflow for accredited institutions.
VeriCam is the registrar portal Cameroonian institutions use to receive, confirm and audit verification requests from universities, embassies, employers and credential evaluators — replacing fragmented email and fax with a single, documented operational workflow.

When email and phone do not respond, our Cameroon-based team follows up directly with the institution's registrar's office. Bilingual outreach across Anglophone and Francophone institutions; every follow-up documented on the case file.
We understand the verification reality of your team.
What admissions, consular, HR and evaluator teams tell us breaks their verification process today — and what each costs in deadlines, fraud risk and audit exposure.
Email & fax verification chaos
Inconsistent requests arrive over email, fax and post — with inconsistent identity for the requesting party.
Verifying the requester themselves
Determining whether a verification request is legitimate is itself a manual research task.
Registrar response under deadline pressure
Foreign admissions and visa deadlines pressure the registrar's office for fast responses, without an audit trail.
No institutional response history
When the same applicant resurfaces, reproducing the prior response is hard without a per-applicant log.
Document handling exposure
Sending PDFs by email creates data-handling exposure; recipients can re-share without trace.
Suspected-fraud channel ambiguity
When a request looks fraudulent, there's no clear escalation channel — flagging is informal and inconsistent.
Concrete advantages for your operations team.
Built around the actual workflows of admissions offices, consular sections, HR and credential evaluators.
All verification requests for your institution in one secure, audit-logged inbox — replaces fragmented email and fax.
Every requesting organisation is admin-approved by VeriCam before they can submit requests citing your institution.
Manage which staff in your office can respond; role-scoped permissions, audit-logged actions.
Confirm / deny / partial / suspected-fraud — with optional uploaded supporting letter; VeriCam handles the official report on your behalf.
Per-applicant, per-cohort, per-requester history — exportable for internal audit or ministry institutional vetting.
Free for accredited institutions; no documents leave your control without explicit registrar action.
Seven stages, fully traceable end-to-end.
Each stage produces evidence on the case file. Reports cite the institution channel, contact and date — never document-only inference.
Operational visibility over every case.
Shared dashboards, real-time queues, risk indicators and audit feeds — your verification operations look like an enterprise compliance workspace, not a marketing screenshot.
- ·Shared queue. Filter by status, SLA, risk or applicant.
- ·Team comments. Audit-logged thread per case.
- ·Downloadable evidence. Every artefact retrievable for audit.
- ·Outcome traceability. Every decision linked to evidence + officer.

Operational scenarios this platform is built for.
Each scenario records the problem, the workflow VeriCam supports, the outcome on the case file and the risk it mitigates.
International admissions deadline window
Foreign admissions deadlines drive a spike of verification requests in March / September; the registrar's office can't keep up with email.
Requests routed to VeriCam portal → registrar staff confirm in one click → VeriCam issues the official report on the institution's behalf.
Backlog cleared; per-request response time drops from days to hours.
Lost admissions outcomes for your former students because the registrar couldn't respond in time.
Suspected fraud against your institution's name
A fraudulent transcript citing your institution appears in the verification queue.
Registrar marks the response as Suspected Fraud → VeriCam halts issuance → compliance institutional vetting opened.
Institution disavowal documented per verification request; report withheld; protective record preserved.
Reputational damage from credentials falsely attributed to your institution.
Internal audit / accreditation institutional vetting
An accreditation body or internal audit requests evidence of how your institution handled past verification requests.
Registrar exports the per-cohort / per-requester audit pack from the portal.
Full audit pack delivered with timestamps, actor identity and decisions — no email archaeology required.
Inability to defend institutional verification practices under audit.
Repeat verification for a returning applicant
A former student requests verification a second time, years after the original.
Registrar retrieves the prior response on the portal → new verification request references the prior verification ID.
Consistent treatment across the applicant's verification history; reduced registrar burden.
Inconsistent answers to different requesters about the same applicant.
What VeriCam adds for Cameroonian institutions
Cameroonian registrars currently respond to verification requests across multiple channels: direct emails from international universities, signed letters mailed by consular sections, fax messages from credential evaluators, occasional in-person visits, and increasingly WhatsApp messages from individual employers. Each channel produces a different evidentiary artefact — and none of them give the institution a coherent audit log of which records have been verified, when, by whom, or for what purpose. The University of Buea registrar's office, the Cameroon GCE Board, the Office du Baccalauréat, and large francophone universities each handle hundreds of these requests monthly, with limited staff capacity to triage genuine from speculative or fraudulent enquiries.
VeriCam gives an onboarded institution a single registrar portal: one queue of pending verifications, each with the requesting organisation identified, the document files the applicant uploaded, the credential record being verified, and the consent trail. The registrar confirms or declines within the portal; the response is timestamped and audit-logged for the institution's own records. Onboarded institutions also benefit from the consent-controlled model — every verification carries the applicant's documented consent for that institution specifically, so no record is released without authorisation. Onboarding is free for Cameroonian institutions; the platform is funded by the foreign-organisation side of the verification chain.
The Cameroon higher-education ecosystem VeriCam supports end-to-end.
VeriCam serves MINESUP-accredited public universities, recognised private institutions, vocational diploma boards, and the two secondary-leaving exam authorities — across both Anglophone and Francophone subsystems.

An escalation channel built for institutional integrity.
Where a request appears to involve a fabricated credential citing your institution, the registrar can mark it Suspected Fraud directly. VeriCam halts issuance, opens a compliance institutional vetting and preserves the evidence — protecting the institution's name.
- Template mismatch. Layout, header, font or seal placement off-template.
- Altered image. Resampling, inconsistent compression, overpainting.
- Duplicate certificate №. Same cert number on a different applicant.
- Suspicious issuer. Outside the recognised institutional registry.
- Inconsistent dates. Impossible chronology across document fields.
- Conflicting response. Institution explicitly disowns the document.
Action. Issuance halted. Compliance review opened.
Escalation. Senior officer + supervisor notified; institution outreach paused pending review.
Every decision backed by traceable evidence.
Procurement teams, internal auditors and accreditation reviewers can reconstruct any verification against an immutable, timestamped audit trail — actor, action, evidence and diff for every state transition.
- Actor-attributed. User identity, role, IP, user agent on every entry.
- Diff-aware. Before / after values for state transitions.
- Evidence linkage. Documents and responses referenced by id.
- Append-only. AuditLog rows are never overwritten.
- Exportable. Per-case audit bundle for procurement / accreditation reviewers.

Procurement-grade reports your team can cite.
Each report carries a verification ID, machine-checkable metadata and a public QR re-verification page. Recipients can re-verify at any time without exposing applicant documents.
- ·Officer and supervisor of record disclosed.
- ·Method, channel and date cited explicitly.
- ·Tamper-evident — immutable payload snapshot.
- ·Revocation and supersession flow if facts change.
- ·Public re-verification never reveals documents.
