Institutional questions, answered.
Accredited Cameroonian institutions — universities, GCE / OBC exam boards, ministry-recognised secondary schools, teacher-training colleges, professional institutes. Activation requires verifiable ministry accreditation.
Typical timeline is 5 business days from application to portal activation. Complex cases (newly accredited institutions, mergers, name changes) can take up to 10 business days while we verify with the ministry.
Yes — onboarding and portal access are free for accredited Cameroonian institutions during the network rollout. Requesters (universities abroad, embassies, employers, evaluators) pay per verification request.
An accreditation reference (decree / arrêté number), official institution contact details and a named registrar. We may request a signed letter on institutional letterhead during compliance review.
VeriCam compliance officers cross-check the accreditation reference against ministry registries, then contact the institution through its official published channels — never the channel given on the application — to confirm the registrar's identity.
Only the registrar staff your institution authorises. Each authorised user has role-scoped permissions; every response is audit-logged with actor identity and timestamp.
